IVAN Production was founded in 1995.

At the present time, one of the main directions of the company is full scale film production.  This has led to the creation of a separate unit called the IVAN, Russian Film Company.

The impetus for this came from Hooked, the movie and its sequel (Hooked and Hooked. Next level), made by director, Pavel Sanaev.  In 2010 the director's cut of the film was awarded three prizes at the LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.  At the LOS ANGELES CINEMA FESTIVAL in Hollywood, the film took five prizes.  The film won the award for "Best Special Effects" at the NEW YORK CITY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL and at the SYDNEY SCIENCE FICTION AND FANTASY FILM FESTIVAL.

Additionally, the first part was recognized as the "Best Russian Action" film of 2009 by the public in the non-profit Russian Internet Movie Awards GEORGES vote.

IVAN Production has also made the following feature films, films for television, and documentaries:

Apart from this, IVAN Production has organized and managed many events, including:

-         Managing live concerts by Patricia Kaas, Sting, Tina Turner (1995, 1996, 1997, respectively) and other international music stars;

-         Preparations for the "850th Anniversary of  Moscow" celebrations (1997);

-         The Opening and Closing ceremonies of the XIX-XXIV MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVALS (1995, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 respectively);

-         Co-ordination and management for television production companies at the ceremonies of the "Inauguration of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin" (2000);

-         Managing the ceremonies and presentation for the televising of the TEFI Professional Television awards (an annual award given in the Russian television industry, presented by the Russian Academy of Television).  TEFI-96, TEFI-97, TEFI-98, TEFI-01 (1996, 1997, 1998, 2001 respectively);

-         Part of the stage work and production for the televising of NIKA, an annual award ceremony held by the Russian Academy of Cinema Arts and Sciences (1997-2002), and the organization of the ceremony for TRIUMPH (2000-2002);

-         Producing “Factory of stars - 1" and "Factory of stars - 2" (2002-2004).
